About Us

GLOVIMO-BreakDown Uganda began in 2005 under the leadership of Apostle Alex Mitala (Uganda) and Aimee Dobbins (United States) as a combined effort to mobilize Ugandan youth to fight the battle against HIV/AIDS in Uganda.

GLOVIMO-BreakDown Uganda spreads the message of abstinence to people in Uganda using music, hip-hop and traditional African dance, drama, singing, and live testimonies to show other Ugandans the joy and freedom that choosing abstinence until marriage can bring! Their message is one of hope, character, salvation, life, prosperity, freedom and the pursuit of goals and dreams. It is the purpose of the youth of GLOVIMO-Breakdown Uganda to fight against AIDS, Africa's modern day GIANT, and to cut off this Giant's head, bringing freedom to their people!
